The Advisory Council works to make sure that all women are included in all aspects of life in Nova Scotia. This includes decision-making that affects women.

In particular, we seek opportunities to encourage participation from women who face discrimination because of

age
language
class
ethnicity
religion
disability
sexual orientation
various forms of family status

Women's input in decisions that affect them is vital. All of the Advisory Council's work reflects this goal. Our projects and initiatives consider how we can include all women in our work.
