Women in the Lead

Women in the Lead was the theme for Status of Women Canada for Women's History Month 2008. This theme closely reflected the longtime efforts of the Nova Scotia Advisory Council on the Status of Women through the Women in Leadership Program

Bread and Roses Campaign

The Honourable Carolyn Bolivar-Getson, minister responsible for the Advisory Council on the Status of Women, launched the Bread and Roses Bursary Fund on March 6, 2009, to mark International Women's Day.
