We are working to increase women's representation in elected offices and their participation in politics and decision-making. Our projects are listed below.

The non-partisan campaign school for women, a partnership with Mount Saint Vincent University, is an ongoing success.

Votes for Women / Des votes pour les femmes-une guide politique is an Advisory Council publication for women seeking elected office.

The Women in Local Government project-undertaken with the Union of Nova Scotia Municipalities, the YWCA, and Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations-has also achieved success. It has raised awareness about the issues and won support among municipal councillors across the province for its Untapped Resources report.
