Employment Opportunity: African Nova Scotian Community Engagement Coordinator

EPDC has been engaged, by the Nova Scotia Department of Community Services, to assist with its Sexual Violence Strategy which was launched in June 2015. 
EPDC, as co-lead to the project, will be hiring an African Nova Scotian Community Engagement Coordinator (ANSCEC) for a period of six months to assist with establishing a African Nova Scotian Community Advisory Board. The ANSCEC will develop a work plan with the sexual violence strategy specialist, coordinate and host province-wide engagement session(s) to identify ways in which communities can come together to respond to and prevent sexual violence in their communities and how the Nova Scotia Sexual Violence Strategy can support their work.
